*NEWS on OUR BLOG* |
Our members enjoy excursions to interesting nurseries, public and private gardens, areas of local interest, and
guided tour of a fen. All destinations were within driving distance from Woodstock, IL. Our club meetings have a
variety of formats. They have included speakers, demonstrators, slide presentations and instructional workshops.
Luncheons, dessert meetings, sack lunches, picnics or fine dining have been included with most of our programs.
We encourage members to attend District I meetings of the Garden Club of Illinois, the National Council of State
Garden Clubs, to participate in and attend Flower Shows, to attend Flower Show Schools and Landscape Design
Schools, to visit each other’s gardens and to share plants and horticulture knowledge.
